Thats right this past week we had the 3rd Lair crew here hanging out and helping give away prizes and promo. If you want to see all the fun they had head over to their website and check out their blog. Big props to Swamp Trog, first vert sessions for him went down this week and even when he crashed hard he got right back up and kept shredding. Kids loved it and trog was the happiest person in the world (or at least the happiest person in the world with a broken nose).

Today we held our long ollie contest right before lunch and while our 14′ camp record went unchallanged we still had campers pushing the limits at 12′ (much further than I care to challenge). A big thanks goes out to X-games for the fingerboards and to Steve Nesser and Adio shoes for the size 12 that replaced the winners sole-LESS shoes……..12′ on a right shoe that has no sole…..

Today we have started the first day of our summer camp, While it is raining outside we are all inside nice and dry skating the totally new layout. check back for weekly updates from staff about their adventures while here at camp.

Coming up June 13th were hoping for rain in lower Wisconsin. Since its going to rain you should all head over to 4 seasons of Madison to check out the best trick comp. It will be put on by 4 season along with Focus skate shop. While your over their be sure to support Focus in their new location. Thats right 4 seasons has teamed up with Focus for the operation of the shop in the park. So now you will have the same great guys you remember being at 4 seasons you will also have the helpful friendly guys from your favorite shop their to hang out with. Be sure to head over to 4 seasons and get in a few practice session between now and the contest.

This week we have been working hard at getting ready for the summer. We have had staff show up, summer clothing come in, and also took the wall down to prep the park for skating and riding. Let the countdown begin to the first day of camp, June 7 2009 will soon be here and we are excited to see the first group of campers come through and let us know what they think of the redesigned indoor skate park. Also get the gears turning, we need to come up with a new name. If you have have an idea of what we can call the indoor park submit it here and if the name is good enough, it just might stick….

Everyone loves watching our video, now we have a new way for you to enjoy watching our video. Like always we are still sending out videos so that you can watch them at home or anywhere you have a DVD player but now you can also watch it right here on our website.
